Up 6:30 next morning, breakfast at 7:00, school at 8:00. Got introduced to my teacher, Anna Silva, who reminded me of a Latino version of Lauren Nation, very intimidating. 4hr lesson later, I was wondering who’s stupid idea it was to try and learn Spanish. Met an aussie guy, Ed, a scotch boy from Melbourne who invited us to get on board for a volcano climb on Saturday.
Went to the hotel Posada la Merceed, who’s owner, a New Zealand woman, I had met the yesterday. I had mentioned I finished my degree in computer science and she asked me if I knew anything about web pages, as she needed hers fixed.
Checked out her page, just needed a few minor updates and some coding. She was busy so I just checked my email, etc. Worked out a deal with her, free accommodation, free net and some free beer. SWEET.
Back to the family for dinner, then out on the town with Rees to check out the pubs. Few beers but not much happening on a Thursday night.
